My favorite drink for 2025 has already been decided: here is the exclusive recipe

France and Japan– two countries that editor Alina Eckert is particularly fond of. However, she wouldn't have expected that they would mix so skilfully in Switzerland... It's a cool evening in Lausanne and I enter the lobby barRoyal Savoy. Dating back to the early 20th century, the bar has always been a popular meeting place for locals and hotel guests. Today it combines stylish, modern furnishings with a touch of elegance that keeps the past alive.

As I sit down in one of the comfortable armchairs, I take in the atmosphere. The air is filled with the subtle scent of cigars from the adjacent cigar lounge, which mixes harmoniously with the aromas of the freshly prepared drinks. It's the perfect place to sit back and relax in luxurious surroundings.

I'll order thatLitschi Sake Bliss, a cocktail given to me by bar managerFrançois-Xavier Vasquezis recommended. The bar also offers the 'Goûter du Royal', a delicious selection of sweet patisseries and savory snacks, some of which I of course also try.

When I got to try the drink, I was thrilled. Visually it looks quite inconspicuous at first with its white-milky color, but I knew that I would like the lychee and peach because I generally like to order fruity-sweet juices and drinks. The delicate touch ofSake(here is aJunmai Daiginjoused) combines perfectly with the sweetness of the lychee Sake BlissPeach liqueur. The fruity and floral aromas ofLitschisirupsand the apple juice from Valais are enhanced by a touch ofYuzurounded, the demgives a fine acidity.

The great thing is: I was able to get the secret recipe out of the bartender to share with you. You can easily remix it, here are the ingredients:
