- 135g wholemeal flour
- 40 g ground hazelnuts
- 50 g vegane Butter
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp gingerbread spice
- 85 g apple pulp (applesauce without added sugar)
- Let the butter stand a little at room temperature.
- In the meantime, mix together the flour, hazelnuts, baking powder and gingerbread spice. Add applesauce and butter in pieces and mix with your hands to form a homogeneous dough.
- Roll out the dough on a suitable surface, such as a baking mat, a pastry board or simply on baking paper. Then cut out the desired shapes, loosen with a knife and place on a baking tray lined with baking paper.
Bake at 170 degrees for about 10 to 12 minutes until they brown very lightly. When the cookies come out of the oven, they are still a little soft. Therefore, they should only be removed from the baking paper when they have completely cooled down.
Tipp:If you don't want to do without powdered sugar as a garnish, you can of course sprinkle it over the cookies. A sugar-free variant would be, for example: B. Powder erythritol.
