Golden Globes 2025: These are all the winners of the award ceremony

On January 5, 2025 (local time) theawarded. For the second time, a group of investors led by Todd Boehly awarded the film awards - and no longer the independent Hollywood foreign press, the Hollywood Foreign Press Association (HFPA). The Golden Globes 2025 have thus established themselves as a completely commercial event.

Comedian Nikki Glaser hosted the Golden Globes, which were televised on the US network CBS. Also in 2025, the two categories, new since 2024: “Best Stand-up” and “Best Box Office Achievement” were there again. The latter reflects commercial success at the box office, which could be due to the new decision-making body.

There was no clear favorite in 2025: “Dune 2” with Timothée Chalamet, “Like A Complete Unknown” withand Timothée Chalamet were nominated, as welland the cast for the drug lord biopic musical “Emilia Pérez.” The series included “The Bear”, “Abbott Elementary”, “Shōgun” and(also with Selena Gomez) give hope.

“The Seed of the Holy Fig Tree” was launched for Germany: the drama that took place under the greatest dangerwas filmed, will also be in the running for Germany at the Oscars 2025.
