The apple and cinnamon is such a combination that simply belongs together, don't you find? If you see it the same way, you have to try our heavenly apple toast rolls. They are prepared in just 20 minutes and make the hearts of children and adults beat alike.

Heavenly recipe for apple toast rolls
Our apple toast rolls are not only made quickly and easily-they are almost delicious. The rolls are wonderfully crispy on the outside, while the fruity filling melts on the tongue. Sounds too good to be true? But is reality!
You need that for 8 rolls:
- 2 apples
- 60 ml of water
- 80 g of sugar, brown
- 2 TL Zimtpulver
- 8 slices toast bread
- 8 TL cream cheese
- 1 egg, size M
- 2 tablespoons of milk
- 1 the butter
- 1 tablespoon of sugar, brown
- 1 TL cinnamon
And so the preparation succeeds:
1. First we prepare the filling. Peel the apples, remove the core and cut the rest into small cubes. Put the apple cubes together with the water, 80 g of brown sugar and cinnamon in a saucepan and bring to the boil briefly. Reduce the heat and simmer with occasional stirring until the water is completely evaporated. Take the pot from the flame.
2. Cut the edge of the toast slices and roll out the rest flat with a rolling pin. Brush the thin bread slices with 1 teaspoon of cream cheese each.
3. Take around 2 teaspoons of the apple filling per bread slice and distribute it along the lower edge of the respective disc. Carefully roll up toast.
4. Whisk the egg with the milk and also heat butter in a pan. Make the toast rolls briefly into the egg and turn, then put them in the hot butter immediately. Fry the rolls all around until they are nice and crisp.
5. 1 tablespoon of brown sugar with cinnamon and sprinkle over the baked apple toast rolls: done!

Great variant: chocolate pear rolls
A great alternative to the classic apple cinnamon is the combi made of pear and dark chocolate. In the recipe, replace the apples through pears and leave out the cinnamon.
As an additional component, you can spread a dark chocolate cream onto the toast slices. You can now find chocolate creams in every well -stocked supermarket. If you like, you can also use Nutella. Then the chocolate bulbs roll a bit sweet.
