Do you fancy Indian cuisine without having to stand in the kitchen long? Then our chicken curry is just the thing for you.
In winter, stews and soups are very popular with us! Now we need something that warms us from the inside and simply makes us happy.
But rather vegan?
How about a change with a creamy chicken curry? With this recipe, spices such as ginger, cayenne, curry and optional chilli ensure that the winter cold has no chance.
Simple recipe for chicken curry
The very best fits this dish of fresh rice or Naan. By the way, you can find a very quick recipe for Naan.
You need that for 4 portions:
- 700 g chicken breast fillet
- 20 g of fresh ginger
- 3 cloves of garlic
- 4 red onions
- 1 handful of spinach
- 200 g scene
- 1 can of coconut milk
- Some oil to fry
Spices:
- 1 teaspoon of curry powder, turmeric, cayenne pepper
- 2 laurel leaves
- 1/2 groupwürfel
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Optional: chilli flakes
This is how the curry succeeds:
1. Peel the ginger and dice or rub or rub (There is an ginger grater on Amazon here*). Peel the garlic and give it through a press. Fry both with a little oil at medium temperature in a saucepan, then set aside.
2. Peel and cut the onions. Shut off the chicken breast into bite -sized pieces. Fry the onions in the pot until they become glassy. Add the chicken breast and fry. Put the garlic and ginger back in the pot.
3. Then season with laurel leaves, curry powder, turmeric and cayenne pepper. Sweat briefly. Deglaze everything with cream and coconut milk. Add half the brew cube. Bring to the boil briefly, then season with salt and pepper.
Tipp: If you want, you can now also add small -cut vegetables, such as carrots, peppers, sugar pods or broccoli.
4. In the meantime, stir the spinach and then stir in. Close the lid and simmer on low heat for 20 minutes. Fishing out the bay leaves, then spread them on the plate and serve warmly.
