Do you value a balanced diet? Then you have to bake these fast oatmeal quark rolls with pieces of carrot pieces.
For these delicious oatmeal rolls you don't have to go to the baker. You only need about half an hour and a few ingredients that most you probably have in the house long ago. And that includes neither flour nor yeast. Because oatmeal not only get great in a porridge or as, This can also be baked.
By the way, through the curd or Skyr and the grated carrot, these small rolls become nice and juicy and, thanks to a high protein content, also fill you up for a long time. But not only the bun itself, also what comes on, has an impact on when the next hunger strikes.

Fast rolls with oatmeal
Ingredients for 4 rolls:
- 1 egg (size m)
- 120 g oatmeal, tender
- 100 g of plays carots
- 270 g skyr or lean curd
- 1 knife tip of salt
- 2 TL baking powder
- Optional: sesame, sunflower or pumpkin seeds
And this is how it works:
1. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees top/bottom heat. Line a sheet with baking paper.
2. Peel and grate the carrot (z. B. with this Raspel from Amazon*). Then mix with the remaining ingredients. Attention, the dough becomes quite sticky. Form 4 rolls from it and place on the baking sheet. Cut the surface slightly with a sawdower. Optionally sprinkle with sesame or pumpkin seeds.
3. Bake the oatmeal buns for about 25–30 minutes until they have a golden brown color. Let cool before eating.
Nutritional values per roll (at 4 pieces):
- Calories: 180.88 kcal
- Protein: 13.13 g
- Kohlshydrate: 23.19 g
For comparison: a normal white roll of about 55 g contains only about 5 to 6 g protein and over 30 g of carbohydrates.
