Recipe for a Nutella marble cake

So that the marbling of the cake becomes even darker, you can mix 2 tablespoons of baking cocoa under the dark dough in addition to the Nutella. If only adults eat, you can also replace the milk in the recipe with egg liqueur - really delicious!

Ingredients for a Gugelhupf:

  • 250 g butter (soft)
  • 170 g of sugar
  • 2 PCK. Vanilla sugar
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 4 eggs (size M)
  • 250 g Mehl
  • 2 TL baking powder
  • 6 tablespoons of milk
  • Abriting half a bio-lemon
  • 4 El Nutella (or other nut nougat cream)

Besides that

  • 150 g chocolate coating as a cast or powdered sugar for dusting
  • some oil or butter (to fat)
  • some flour (to fat)

And so the cake succeeds:

1. First preheat the oven to 170 degrees upper/bottom heat. Grease a Gugelhupfform and sprinkle with flour.

2. Mix the soft butter with sugar, vanilla sugar, salt and lemon abrasion in a bowl. Add the eggs one after the other and stir in.

3. Mix the flour and baking powder in a separate bowl. Then alternate the flour mixture and 3 tablespoons of the milk to the dough.

4. Fill half of the dough into the Gugelhupf shape. For the other half, give the Nutella and milk and stir smoothly. Spread the chocolate mass on the light dough and pull them through the dough with a spoon or fork in a spiral so that the typical marble pattern is created.

5. In the preheated oven, bake the cake on a medium shelf for 50-60 minutes. With the chopstick test, check whether the cake is through. If it becomes too dark at the top, cover the cake with aluminum foil in good time.

6. Then let it cool in the mold for about 10 minutes, then fall out of the mold and let it cool completely. Either dust with powdered sugar or cover with melted chocolate coating.
