Are you always annoyed when you paint over the edge when you paint your nails? Us too! However, we know two brilliant beauty hacks for prevention. Small mistakes can be corrected at lightning speed.
Totally motivated and full of drive you grab a nail polish in your favorite color and start painting your fingernails. Of course you are careful and of course you also keep your hand nice and quiet so that you can paint the nails accurately and do not brush over the edge. In principle, you do everything as you are explained in numerous tutorials.

And yet: Sometimes it just doesn't work. Not everyone has a quiet hand. And you don't always have the necessary sensitivity to carry out the brush strokes clean and perfectly. The result? You paint outside the nail edge. Annoying!
Once the paint has been dried, the mistakes must be corrected. There are special correction pencils (zB von Microcell 2000, according to Douglas*). Or you can use a cotton swab and nail polish remover to repair the beauty fail. Both methods work - but not always as easy and as good as you imagine.
We note: mistakes when painting can happen and that is also completely ok. However, if you know that beforehand, you can prevent it. Very good. There are two brilliant beauty tricks that you can take advantage of before swinging the brush. With these hacks it is not so dramatic if you paint over the edge when painting (but sometimes).
#1 paint nails without painting: the Vaseline trick
Vaseline is a real multi-talent in the area of skin and body care. The fat cream supplies dry skin with moisture, tastes brittle lips velvety soft, can be used as an eye make-up remover, protects the skin from wound frame or helps that small grinders heal better.

And even when painting nails, Vaseline can really exhaust their potential. If you do not yet know this brilliant beauty hack with the fat cream, it will be high time that you get to know it.
Before you paint your nails, rub the skin around the nail with fat cream. You can use a cotton swab to help yourself. For what reason? Because nail polish is not liable on greasy surface. So if you "paint" yourself, the paint traces on the skin can be easily removed.
Just wait until the nail polish has dried and then wash your hands with soap. Voilà-Vaseline and paint residues are gone and you can shine with a beautiful manicure.
Important: Make sure that no petroleum jelly comes to the fingernails. Because then the nail polish is not liable on the nails.
You can order Vaseline from Douglas, for example.*
Vaseline is also availableRossmannor dm.

#2 paint nails without painting: the handicraft glue trick
Another ingenious beauty hack that ensures that the foot or fingernail edges look clean and precise after painting is using craft glue.
Yes, exactly, handicraft glue. Simply pull a fine line around your nail bed with this product. You can also use a brush as aid to apply the glue thin and precisely to the skin. Let the adhesive layer dry well before you start painting your nails as normal.
If you now paint something over the edge, it is not dramatic. Because the small mistakes can be removed in no time when the paint is completely dried. With the help of tweezers you can simply pull off the glue and the paint residues from your fingers. That is quite fixed and doesn't hurt at all. The result: perfectly lacquered fingernails without over -painted edges.
Important: The handicraft adhesive method can dry out your cuticle. Cream it so that it stays smooth and is best not to apply this trick too often.
For example, handicrafts are available from Amazon.*
