Attention marzipan fans! These Christmas cookies not only taste delicious, they are also incredibly quick to make. We'll tell you the recipe, which is as simple as it is heavenly delicious.
There are still a few weeks until Christmas, but we are already creating a real winter mood by baking delicious cookies.
Marzipan, cinnamon and almonds give the cookie dough that typical Christmas taste that is so unmistakable. And the cookies are incredibly easy to make. Here is the sure-fire recipe.

Heavenly marzipan cookies: the recipe to bake
If you like marzipan, you will love these cookies. In addition to the raw marzipan mixture, a small dash of bitter almond flavor and a pinch of cinnamon ensure that the cookies taste wonderfully wintery.
Ingredients for approx. 25 pieces:
- 200 g Marzipanrohmasse
- 1 No
- 1 pinch of salt
- 80g powdered sugar
- 100 g Flour
- 100 g ground almonds
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1 THE Bittermandelaroma
- 2 tbsp almond flakes
And this is how it works:
1. Open the oven175 degrees top/bottom heator preheat to 155 degrees circulating air. Separate the egg.
2. Knead the powdered sugar, flour, ground almonds, cinnamon, salt, bitter almond flavor, egg white and marzipan into a uniform dough.
3. Form approx. 25 small balls out of the dough and place them on a tray lined with baking paper.
Tipp:Moisten your hands slightly when forming the balls, as the raw marzipan mixture is quite sticky.
4. Whisk the egg yolk and brush it over the cookies. Then sprinkle with the flaked almonds and bake in the preheated oven for about 12-15 minutes.
5. Allow the finished marzipan cookies to cool and, if desired, dust them with powdered sugar or dip half of them in melted jam.
Make your own marzipan with just three ingredients
Not only are the marzipan cookies made in no time – the marzipan mixture required for them can also be made very quickly.
All you need is 300 g ground almonds, 200 g powdered sugar and 2 tablespoons water. Knead the ingredients by hand or with a food processor into a solid mass and roll it in cling film. The homemade marzipan raw material can be stored in the refrigerator for up to four months.
Tipp:You can refine your marzipan with rose water or bitter almond flavor.
