The hearty sauce, combined with the delicious spaetzle, is a very wonderful dinner, which is guaranteed to be enthusiastic about the whole family. And it is on the table in no time!
Our recipe for a Swabian pan
We use finished spaetzle from the cooling shelf for our recipe. However, if you have a little more time, you can also make your own spaetzle. You can find instructions in our.
You need that for 2 portions:
- 250 g of spaetzle
- 350 g Mushrooms
- 1 onion
- 125 ml vegetable broth
- 125 g sour cream
- 1 teaspoon of flour
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Some nutmeg
- Some majoran
- Butter to fry
- Optional: roasted onions
- Optional: fresh parsley
This is how the recipe succeeds:
1. Peel and finely dice the onion. Clean the mushrooms and cut them into slices. It is best to use a mushroom brush to help (you get here at Amazon*).
2. Heat the butter in a pan and steam the onion in it until it becomes slightly translucent. Add the mushrooms and fry together with the onions for 2-3 minutes.
3. Deglaze with the broth and simmer for about 10 minutes until the soup is significantly reduced. Then stir in the sour cream. Mix the flour with a little water and put them in the pan to tie.
4. Add salt, pepper, nutmeg and marjoram and simmer for a few minutes. In the meantime, heat the spaetzle according to the package instructions and then put them in the pan. Mix everything, garnish with roast onions and parsley and serve.
