Vanilla cake is the most flavorful and moist cake I have tried in a long time. Here comes the recipe for a heavenly fluffy treat.
Hardly any spice is as captivating as vanilla. The heavenly aroma immediately gives every dessert that certain something. Vanilla already has a permanent place in cookies and desserts. In cakes, however, it often plays a minor role. Until now! Because we'll show you an ingenious recipe for vanilla cake in which the noble spice is the star.
Vanilla cake: simple recipe
If you like vanilla, then you will love the vanilla cake. For our recipe we use the full amount of vanilla: vanilla pudding powder, a cup of vanilla pudding and also a vanilla pod are added to the dough so that the cake has its wonderful vanilla flavor. The cake is not too sweet and doesn't taste artificially like vanilla, but has the perfect aroma.
Fruits such as apples and apricots also go well with the cake and can be easily integrated into the recipe. White chocolate can also be combined well with vanilla cake. Here comes the basic recipe.
This is what you need:
- 200 g Flour
- 2 packs of pudding powder
- 1/2 pack baking powder
- 3 Owner
- 100g sugar
- 1 pack vanilla sugar
- 1 vanilla bean
- 150 g soft butter
- 1 Becher Vanillepudding (200 g)
- Salt
- 200 g white chocolate coating
And this is how it works:
1.Put the flour, pudding powder and baking powder in a bowl and mix together. Then put the bowl aside for now.
2.Put the eggs, sugar, vanilla sugar, salt and the pulp of the vanilla pod (alternatively you can use vanilla flavoring) in another bowl and beat with a hand mixer until creamy.
3.Now add the soft butter together with the cup of vanilla pudding and stir briefly again. If the butter is not soft enough, melt it in a pot or in the microwave.
4.Now add the flour and vanilla pudding powder mixture to the bowl. Mix the dry ingredients with the liquid batter and stir until there are no lumps left. However, don't stir for too long, otherwise the cake will lose its fluffy consistency.
5.Now put the dough into a greased springform pan or a loaf pan. In the preheated ovenBake at 165 degrees for about 40 minutes. In between, test with a chopstick to see whether the cake is ready.
6.Let the cake cool down and finally decorate it with the couverture. If you don't have couverture, you can melt white chocolate instead or simply use powdered sugar.
