Would you like recipe inspiration? Our bean stew with bratwurst and tomatoes is ready in half an hour.
I can never get enough of stews. They are made easy, the ideal remaining recycling, can be prepared in large quantities and wonderfully hearty - perfect for days when spring is still coming.
Safe sausages come to fruity tomatoes and white beans (a classic combination, as the British know), which ensure the necessary roasted aromas in the stew. A pinch of smoked paprika powder rounds off the matter.

Ingredients for 4 portions:
- 2 away
- 6 rough sausages
- 1 onion
- 2 cloves of garlic
- 2 TL Oregano, getrocknet
- 1/2 TL smoked paprika powder
- 300 g of full tomatoes
- 250 ml of chicken broth
- 500 g white beans
- Salt and pepper
And this is how it works:
1. Peel the onion and garlic, finely dice or chop both. Cut the sausages into large slices.
2. Heat the oil in a deep pan on a medium flame, then fry the sausage all around for about 5 minutes. Then take the meat out of the pan, leave the oil in it.
3. In the same pan, now sweat the onion and garlic until everything smells and the onion is glassy. Add oregano and roast briefly. Deglaze with tomatoes and broth. Season the whole thing with salt, pepper and paprika powder, bring to the boil and simmer for about 10 minutes.
4. Add the sausage slices back to the stew. Drain the beans, rinse under water, also add to the stew and simmer for another 5-10 minutes. Season with salt and pepper. In addition, rustic bread or a salad tastes.
