Dry heating air is hard on the skin in winter. This moisturizer is a test winner and saves the skin from drying out.

Autumn is already in the starting blocks. And skin dryness can increase, especially in the cooler months. Richer creams that give our skin a lot of moisture are now a must for many people.

Are you still looking for the perfect care that moisturizes and gives your complexion a beautiful glow? Then we have something for you: the “Hydro Boost Aqua Cream” from Neutrogena.

Stiftung Warentest tested the cream in April of this year and awarded it a quality rating of 1.9. The best verdict in the test. A total of 14 face creams for dry skin were examined.

With its moisturizing properties, it not only impressed Stiftung Warentest, but also us. And the best part? You can get them in almost every drugstore such as Rossmann, dm or Müller.

The Neutrogena “Hydro Boost Aqua Cream”: A real game changer

Stiftung Warentesttested 14 face creams specifically for dry skin in April. Since I tend to have very dry facial skin, the test winner was immediately on my shopping list. With an overall grade of 1.9, the Neutrogena “Hydro Boost Aqua Creme” performed best and is particularly impressive in the area of moisture enrichment in the skin – it even got a 1.0 here. The application and feel on the skin also scored points, and what's more, it doesn't contain any environmentally critical substances.

According to the manufacturer, the “Hydro Boost Aqua Creme” from Neutrogena impresses with its light texture and intensive moisture supply. The formula is enriched with hyaluronic acid, a true miracle ingredient that can store 1,000 times its weight in water. This means that the cream will keep your skin hydrated all day long - without leaving it feeling greasy.

With ingredients like hyaluronic acid, amino acids and ceramides, the cream is said to provide six times more moisture for up to 72 hours. That doesn't just sound good, the moisture enrichment was also confirmed by Stiftung Warentest. And the icing on the cake: Thanks to the fragrance-free formula, the Hydro Boost Aqua Cream is also suitable for allergy sufferers like me.

What I noticed straight away: It is wonderfully easy to apply and is absorbed immediately. My face feels refreshed and sufficiently hydrated. The “Hydro Boost Aqua Creme” is also perfect as a make-up base as it absorbs in seconds and leaves no residue.
