Drying bed linen becomes a real challenge without a dryer. But with this trick you can get everything on a clothes horse!

Who doesn't know it? Drying bed linen can be a real challenge if you don't have a dryer at home. For me it's an absolute horror every time! Large duvets, sheets and covers often take up the entire drying rack, so you would need at least three racks to hang everything up neatly.

And as if that wasn't bad enough, the laundry dries very slowly and often ends up with unsightly creases.

But fortunately there isTikTok. There I discovered an ingenious hack that not only saves space, but also ensures that the bed linen dries much better - and without any annoying creases. I tried it and absolutely loved it!

Drying bed linen: Everything fits on a drying rack

The key to this clever hack lies in the way you hang the bedding. Instead of just throwing everything over the drying rack, all you need is a few clothespins. And this is how it works:

1. Take the top ends of your duvet cover or sheet and attach them to one of the fold-out sides of your drying rack with two clothespins. Leave a gap of around 5 to 10 cm between the clips so that the laundry hangs well.

2. Repeat the same step with the bottom ends of the duvet cover - this time on the opposite side of the drying rack. The bedding should now hang in a U-shape under the stand.

Tipp:If the bedding touches the floor, you can attach two more clothespins to the middle of the U-shape to pull it up slightly.

3. Now you can do the same with pillowcases and the bed sheet. Et Voila! This means that a complete bed set fits on just one drying rack and the laundry still hangs on the rack with enough space so that the air can circulate well and the bed linen can dry quickly. Brilliant, right?
