Black sink black again thanks to trick
To make your black sink look like new again, you need to treat it with a simple home remedy after cleaning. All you need is neutral cooking oil like sunflower or rapeseed oil. You can also use olive oil if you don't mind the smell. But first things first.
If your sink has stubborn limescale deposits, the first step you should take is to spray them with a gentle, lime-dissolving cleaning agent such as vinegar cleaner and let the whole thing take effect for five minutes. Then clean with a sponge and rinse with clean water.
Now comes the trick:Put oil on a paper towel and rub it all over the black sink. The oil seals the surface and prevents the micro-fine limescale particles from immediately redepositing in the water.
The effect: The sink finally looks black again and stays black. And this for up to two weeks. If gray spots appear again, you can repeat the procedure.

Attention: If you have a black sink made of natural stone, you must not use acidic cleaners or household products as these can attack the stone. Experts recommend carefully rubbing these sinks with very fine stainless steel wool (type 0000) when they are dry to remove the encrusted limescale.
