Shaving foam just for shaving? Think! You can use it so brilliantly around the house and when cleaning

Once you weren't paying attention and the coffee cup slipped out of your hand and crashed onto the carpet. Even if the cup survives, it's super annoying because there's now a huge dark spot on the light carpet.

But there is a simple trick to remove stains from carpet. And you don't need an expensive carpet cleaner, just shaving foam, which you probably already have in your cupboard at home.

Shaving foam is not only suitable for a close shave. You can also use the white foam to clean carpets. The advantage of cleaning with shaving foam is not only that it is quick and inexpensive, it also neutralizes odors and provides a pleasant scent.

Make sure you choose a shaving cream that you like the smell of. Many products have an intense, masculine scent, others smell more floral.

It's best to use white shaving foam that is methanol-free. Of course, you can also use unscented shaving foam.

Clean carpet quickly

Here's how:

  1. First, you should vacuum your carpet thoroughly and remove any coarse dirt.
  2. Now you can spray the shaving foam onto the stain and work it in with a sponge or a cotton cloth. With shag carpets, it's best to do this with your hands.
  3. You should then leave the shaving foam on overnight or for up to 24 hours.
  4. Then you can brush out the foam with a soft brush and vacuum it again. And that's it. If the stain is still visible, you can easily repeat the process.

Pet owners and parents in particular know the problem of stains on the carpet all too well. But shaving foam can help here too. You can also use the shaving foam for regular basic cleaning of your carpet.

But then you have to treat the entire carpet with the shaving foam. However, this also requires a shorter exposure time of two to three hours. Your carpet will then shine like new again.
