Paris Jackson, the daughter of late pop star Michael Jackson, denied the news that she attempted suicide on March 16, saying it was being spread by liars.
On Saturday, TMZ reported that Jackson was in stable condition at a hospital after attempting suicide in her Los Angeles home. TMZ said the alleged suicide attempt was sparked in part by the fallout from the documentary "Leaving Neverland." In the film, allegations against Michael Jackson are made by two men who said the singer sexually abused them as children in 2009.
After news of her apparent hospitalization broke, Paris denied TMZ's claimto a suicide attemptand responded with the tweet: “F*ck you, you f*cking liers”. She also replied to an already deleted tweet from Bethenny Frankel and added a few eye roll emojis.
Despite Paris Jackson's rejection, famous magazines such as E!, People and ABC News also reported on it. Her sources called the story an "accident" and an "incident" rather than outright calling it a suicide attempt. "Paris had an accident this morning that required medical treatment," the source said. “She is currently resting at home and doing well.”
Before Paris arrived to clarify what was really happening, her fans were worried. Earlier this year, it was reported that Paris was checking into a treatment facility to work on her emotional and physical health. The singer and modelalso quickly responded to the news, assuring her fans that she was taking a break, feeling healthy, and getting ready to create new music.
