Babies grow quickly. First from the cradle, then from theBaby bedgrown. If you don't plan on having any other children at the moment, you can repurpose the crib. But how can yourepurpose an old baby bed? Take a look at our recycling ideas and you will find the inspiration for it.
Convert an old baby bed into a clothes horse
An old baby bed could have many functions other than storing old things in the basement. Make a home office desk by placing a glass top on it. When the grids are removed, you can use them as book or newspaper holders. The bed springs mounted on the wall serve as vintage memo boards for small notes and calendars. If you saw out one side of the baby bed, it will turn into a nice play or desk for the babynursery. You can even paint the table top with chalkboard paint. Another interesting idea for the children's room would be to build a playhouse for all the girls' dolls.
Dismantle old baby bed
The old baby bed shouldn't necessarily just stay in the children's room. Make a bench for the porch, a raised bed for herbs in the garden, or even a serving table for the grill area. The cot can also be converted into a wonderful porch swing.
