  • Smaller children benefit from this workIn terms of fine motor skills. Creativity is also promoted. At this age, however, it is worth preparing a few models that can serve as a template. The cutting may take over an adult.
  • Older children can work more independently and come up with their own patterns. Cutting can also take over preschool and primary school children themselves.

Before you get started, prepare your handicraft corner so that you don't miss anything later:

  • Sort the natural materials.

Instead of throwing everything on a bunch, it is worth ensuring order. So you find everything necessary faster. Design piles or take flat shells or cups to sort green leaves, berries of the same color, petals of the same color and variety, etc.

  • Cut out of the colored paper circles of any size.

You can use a circle or the bottom of a glass to mark a circle. Smaller children should work with smaller circles because their patience and ability to concentrate is not yet so pronounced. Fast successes are to be striving for here.

  • First place the pattern without glue.

In this way, errors can be avoided and every design can be covered and changed again. Once the pattern has been found, the individual elements are simply glued. It doesn't matter whether you use liquid glue or an adhesive stick. You should only avoid hot glue in fresh natural materials (and when small children tinker).
