With a little motivation and simple yet pretty flowers, you can easily create bouquets for the tables yourself without wasting a lot of time and money, because putting together a DIY table decoration is neither a higher science nor scary, but on the contrary. It can be really fun to experiment. And your guests will love you!

The following instructions will help you put together a great bouquet of anemones that you can also use for your own wedding. The flowers bloom in May. If yoursWeddingSo if it takes place at this time, you can easily order it.

What you need for it

  • Flowers of your choice
Different types of roses were used for the example bouquet; anemone; pink ranunculus; white ranunculus; pink pimelea; green, hanging amaranth and butcher's broom.
  • a flower scissors
  • Floral floral foam
  • a container for the flowers (in this case a footed bowl)

Step-by-step instructions

  1. Prepare your flowers for arranging. Remove thorns, low leaves and any injured petals. Under running, lukewarm water, cut off 2.5 to 5 cm of the stems at a 45 degree angle. Then cut off any lower leaves that might later touch the water in your container. Store flowers in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight or drafts. Water the flowers for at least four to six hours.
  2. Cut the floral foam to fit the container. Dip the foam into a mixture of water and cut flower food. To do this, simply place the foam in a bucket of water containing cut flower food. Do not push the foam under the water, let it sink on its own. The foam is ready as soon as it is under water and no more air bubbles come out of it.
  3. Create the shape and base of the bouquet using the tying greenery. To do this, simply insert the stems into the foam. Note that the angle you choose will determine how the tying green will stand. Butcher’s broom is the perfect choice for this. Namely, it is stable enough to define the shape and at the same time fluid enough to create a vintage technique.
  4. Add the hanging amaranth to the bouquet. Use the amaranth at the beginning to allow the hanging elements to come through the main flowers.
  5. Add the larger flowers first. These should be the roses with the larger flowers. Put them in the foam and there will be enough space for the next flowers, namely the anemones and ranunculus.
  6. Now it's the turn of the anemones and ranunculus. If you are designing a bouquet of flowers yourself, it is helpful if you choose a large main flower, secondary flowers, fillers and binding greenery in advance. In this case, the main flowers are the roses, the anemones and ranunculus are the smaller, secondary flowers, the pink pimelea is the filler, and the amaranth and butcher's broom are the binding greenery.
  7. DieFlowers, which are used as fillers, come at the end. They should fill the empty gaps. Use them to fill in any bare areas, as well as those that contain too much greenery or where the foam is visible.Look at the bouquetfrom all sides and check whether you have covered all areas. Once you are happy with the shape and size of your bouquet, you are finished with the DIY table decoration.
