Whether in art class or for the classroom, in just a few quick steps you can conjure up a window decoration for autumn in the primary school, which can then decorate the room. What options are there?
With paper, things from nature or other materials - the options are so numerous that sometimes you are overwhelmed with the choice. We have put together a few of the most beautiful and simple ideas that you can choose for a great fall window decoration in elementary school. And templates are also included.
Make your own window pictures from tracing paper
To make this fall window decoration for elementary school, you only need a few materials. As a teacher, you can either prepare the sheets at home and bring them to school ready to have them decorated in a colorful way. Or you can just print out the templates and have the students cut out the sheets too. For thebeautiful autumn decorationfor the classroom you need:
- printed templates for the sheets
- Adhesive film (single-sided) or alternatively wide adhesive tape
- Tracing paper or tissue paper
- Scissors
- String to hang or tape to stick to the window
How to make fall window pictures in elementary school:
- Cut out the leaves. Here you also remove the inner areas between the leaf veins - everything that is white.
- Cut the parchment paper or tissue paper and use different (preferably autumnal) colors.
- Spread several sheets on a piece of adhesive film and then cut them out. Alternatively, you can stick adhesive tape on the holes and cut off the excess as well. Be careful not to dirty the adhesive side.
- Place the sheet in front of you with the sticky side up and distribute the colorful paper scraps over the sticky areas as desired. Cut off the protruding ends.
- You can hole the finished leaves in one place and tie string to hang them or stick them to the window panes with adhesive tape.
Tipp:For the freely hanging version, you can glue another, undesigned leaf onto the finished leaf so that it is beautiful from both sides.

- Stick the figure with the umbrella on the window panes. If you use black paper on both sides, the window picture will also look pretty from the outside.
