Limes instead of oranges as Christmas decorations
Everyone knows dried orange slices as a traditional Christmas decoration and you have probably already used them enough. Combine as desired with cloves or cinnamon sticks or – ears of wheat!
Thread thread onto a needle and poke through the dry slices to line them up. In between you can add any other materials. The combination becomes particularly purist if you just tie ears of corn in between. The star garland also fits in very nicely, for which ready-made cardboard or plywood stars from the craft shop were simply glued to yarn.
Christmas tree baubles and figures are only intended for the Christmas tree? Not at all! Use mini-format models to make a horizontal window garland for Christmas or several vertical ones that you can hang like a curtain.
