Papier
Scissors

Konfetti (optional)
Sticker (any design)

Heart and flower stickers, heart confetti and some green, purple, silver and orange sequins. You can put all the parts of the collage clearly into bowls so that the children can see everything and choose which parts they want to use.
Instructions:
- Fold a piece of paper in half to form a card.
- Draw a heart shape on the front of the card.
- Cut out the heart shape with scissors.
- Glue contact paper to the back of the cut out heart (so the heart sticks to the front of the card).
- Decorate the adhesive heart with crumpled tissue paper, stickers, confetti and sequins of your choice.
The design is entirely up to your creativity. The beauty of a self-adhesive card is that no glue is required due to the clear contact paper.
Decorating the card is great training for children's fine motor skills as they crumple up the tissue paper, stick it on and pick up the sequins or peel off the stickers. All of these actions promote the development of pincer grip and strengthening of the hands needed for writing in school.
If you would like to write a special Mother's Day saying on the front, you can use one of thefollowing sayingsuse.

Mom, you are the best
