Cute snowmen made from wooden sticks

Create these fun snowmen with a few wooden sticks. You can also easily turn them into ornaments by adding a ribbon bow to the top. Gather some wooden sticks, small buttons (in orange, red, and black), red pipe cleaners, white paint, a brush, black marker, glue, scissors, and black construction paper. Then just follow the steps.

  • Paint the wooden sticks with the white paint.
  • Cut squares out of the black paper. Then cut a strip from each side to create the hat and glue it to the top of the stick.
  • Draw the eyes and mouth with the black marker.
  • Attach an orange button for each nose.
  • Cut small pieces of red pipe cleaner and tie them under the mouth for the scarf.
  • Attach the buttons underneath.

Tangerine snowman

This cute snowman is very easy to make. A few tangerines, cloves, cinnamon sticks, small twigs, winter berries, glue, toothpicks and small scraps of fabric for a hat and scarf. Use it as a table centerpiece or simply place it on the mantel to create a festive atmosphere.

  • Insert 2-3 toothpicks halfway up the first tangerine, then stack the second, smaller fruit on top to secure.
  • Tie a scarf from scraps of fabric and attach two winter berries for the buttons.
  • Stick two small branches for the arms, a small piece for the nose and another for the mouth.
  • Attach two carnations to create the eyes.
  • Glue two cinnamon sticks on the bottom to form the skis.

Make a snowman out of egg carton

If you need a simple craft idea for a cold winter day, consider making a snowman out of egg carton.

Necessary materials:

  • old egg carton
  • white color
  • black marker
  • Paint brush
  • Scissors
  • Googly eyes
  • small pompoms and pipe cleaners
  • orange craft paper
  • Hot glue gun

Step-by-step instructions:

  • First cut three egg cups from the egg carton and paint them with white paint.
  • Cut small strips from the remaining egg carton and fold them into squares to attach to the top of each egg cup to create space and allow them to sit higher.
  • Then stack the egg cups on top of each other.
  • Cut a small piece of pipe cleaner for the earmuffs and bend it into a “U.” Attach it to the top egg cup and then glue two pompoms on the two sides.
  • Cut out a nose from the orange paper and attach it together with the googly eyes.
  • Use the marker to draw black dots for the buttons and mouth.

  • Lightly shape the body with your hand.
  • Use the leftover fabric to create the hat and scarf.
  • Sew two buttons on each body.
  • Draw the mouth with the red marker and the eyes with the black one.

  • white and blue paper
  • black and orange markers
  • Scissors

  • Draw a spiral pattern on a sheet of white paper.
