Painting beach pictures with paints and brushes

Those:@creativeartforkids/ TikTok

With simple acrylic paints and a few accessories, kids can do this pretty easilycreate a beautiful image. In this case you need:

  • a sheet of paper or canvas
  • round sponge brush (large and smaller)
  • wide brush
  • thin brush
  • Acrylic paints
  • a small cup or lid if you also want to add bubbles

How to create the beach picture with children:

  • Start with the beach. Dab the appropriate color with the sponge brush and let it dry.
  • If you want, you can now add points with a black marker.
  • Then use the brush to draw the palm trunk and the green leaves.
  • Once the leaves are dry, you can use the small sponge brush to stamp some coconuts.
  • The parasol is made of colorful stripes. Simply paint these close together, making sure that they are narrower at the top and become wider towards the bottom. To do this, initially only use the tip of the brush and gradually press it harder onto the paper.
  • Use the large sponge brush to stamp a circle for the sun and use the small brush to paint the sun's rays in the same color.
  • If you would like to have the soap bubbles with you: Color the edge of a small lid or cup with blue paint and press it onto the paper to create a fine ring. Use the thin brush to add the light reflection in light blue.

Should the image have a 3D effect? Nothing easier than that, really! Depending on their age, you can prepare the individual elements for the little ones so that all they have to do is stick them on.

  • Construction paper in blue for the sea (you can alsoUse foam rubber)
  • any other colors for the parasol and flip flops
  • ice styles
  • Glue
  • Gold glitter or real sand
  • Mug or glass as a template
  • Yarn
  • Pencil, yellow crayon, marker
  • Toothpick or match (without head)
  • wavy scissors
  • Pom poms (a yellow one for the sun and any other color for a ball)

How to make the 3D beach picture:

  • Glue the four popsicle sticks together into a square and attach a piece of twine to the back for hanging.
  • Place the resulting frame on blue paper and trace the outer sides.
  • Cut out the square and glue it to the back of the frame.
  • Apply glue where you want the beach to be and quickly sprinkle sand or glitter over it before it dries.
  • Then let the glue dry and tap off any excess that hasn't stuck.
  • Place three colors for the shade on top of each other and draw a semicircle on the edge using a glass (you can also use a compass).

  • Cut out all colors at the same time to create equal semicircles (and save time).
  • Fold the circles in half to form quarters and cut off the open side with the wavy scissors.
  • Glue all three quarters together at their folds and then onto the picture together with the toothpick/match.
  • Cut out slipper shapes from pink or another colored paper and draw the straps onto them. Glue them to the sand.
  • Glue a yellow pom-pom in the corner and draw sun rays on it.
  • Attach another pom-pom to the sand to represent an inflatable ball.

Paint quick beach pictures with children on a mini canvas

Those:@melissametrano/ TikTok

You can create a really beautiful picture that couldn't be easier on a canvas. Use acrylic paints as wellreal sandfrom the decoration shop or directly from the beach if you want to recreate this idea.

Those:@melissametrano/ TikTok
  • Paint a wavy line and area in any corner in any color. It doesn't necessarily have to be the typical blue either.
  • While this paint is still wet, brush over it a few times with another color in waves to create shades of color. For example, you can create a sunset effect with pink or orange.
  • Allow the colors to dry thoroughly.
  • Apply white paint or glue to the exposed area and immediately pour sand over it to help it stick. Once the glue has dried, shake and tap off the loose sand. Instead of beach sand, you can also use colored decorative sand or even gold glitter.
