Wireless lamps as innovative lighting for the interior

At Milan Design Week 2016, designer Davide Groppi presented his latest collection of lamps. It is called “Wireless is more” and consists of different models that present interior lighting in a completely different light. These have a very special quality about them. These are wireless lamps that further impress with their simple and ultra-modern design, light weight, creativity and pleasant light.

The “PoPuP” model from the collection combinedthe two passionsthe designer's light and music and therefore has an interesting quality about it. With it you can listen to your favorite music at any time while at the same time providing pleasant light. Both functions can be controlled separately. To do this, simply connect the lamp wirelessly to any device.

The simple design of the Infinito model immediately catches the eye despite its delicacy. The focus here is on the light itself and not the light body. The latter diffuses light evenly with a width of only 18 mm. In principle, this is just a narrow LED strip with two tension rollers at each end.

This strip can be cut into any length. This wireless lamp design can not only be used as a ceiling light. The light body can also be used vertically by attaching it to a wall. The lamp is optionally available with white light or with an RGB-controllable system.

The idea for “Solemio” came to the designer while thinking about natural light and looking for a suitable design. A light blue lampshade was created to symbolize the sky, while the light bulb represents the sun. The light beam can be adjusted in any direction.

The principle “less is more” also applies to the Dot, Trick Track and Mini models. The goal was more functional lighting that would allow the light to be focused on a specific area in the room. The luminaires are white in color with a few black accents. The cover photo shows wireless “Dot” lamps that can be moved into the correct position using a bar.

Davide Groppi's lights are also available for the wall. Once again, a simple design stands out, which adapts perfectly to the modern interior. If you want, you can also choose this model in an elegant black color. Either way, you get an innovative design that doesn't just get in the way of annoying and unsightly cables.

DieLamps without cablesare possible with all models because they are battery operated. This allows a free choice of location for fixation. You are no longer dependent on electrical wiring when planning your lighting for individual rooms. This model is attached to the wall using a black strip.

The “Mini” model also has a simple and elegant, modern design. The light bulb is housed in a cuboid made of thin metal, which is white on the outside and black on the inside, and can be rotated in any direction. This is made possible by the movable socket of the light bulb.

Mini is attached to the ceiling. The small size makes it possible to combine several lights together to provide sufficient lighting even in large rooms. Windowless rooms such as conference rooms get the right atmosphere.

The LED light bulbs make Groppi's wireless lamps an environmentally friendly light source with a very long lifespan. The low power consumption makes them a practical alternative to light sources that are connected to the electrical wiring of the house or apartment, even when using batteries.

You can see the built-in speakers of the PoPuP lamp, which impress with their quality and perfect sound. The battery can be easily recharged and guarantees the comfort you are used to with the latest technologies. An example with which the designer has truly outdone himself!

Further information and technical features about the wireless lamp design can be found on the designer's website. If you value a stylish home and lighting that leaves nothing to be desired, then the models in the “Wireless is more” collection are the perfect accessory for your interior.
