Does your child want to be a ladybug for carnival? Making up a cute ladybug with the little lucky dots is not that difficult and even less talented parents (like me) can do it.

Materials needed

  • Carnival make-up in red, black and white
  • Makeup sponge
  • 2 make-up brushes – large and thin
  • Skin glue

Here's how to do it

  • Transform the two eye areas into a ladybug by painting two red ovals over the closed eyebrows and eyelids - these are the wings.
  • Use a fine brush to poke several small black dots onto the red ovals.
  • Then, in the sleeper area, directly next to each oval, paint a ladybug body and head with antennae using white and black paint.
  • Depending on your wishes, you can stick small wooden ladybugs on the face.
  • And that's it - it's that easy to make up ladybugs.
