The necessary materials

If you want to make crazy socks with monster heads, you'll need an hour. The following materials are also necessary:

Sewing thread in light green, white and dark green

Knitting yarn in dark green

Felt in green, orange and yellow

Fabric with a check pattern

Colorful feather

Plastic jewelry beads

Two knee-length white socks

Scissors

Nadel

White buttons in different sizes

Adhesive (optional)

Step-by-step instructions

First, make a bow tie out of the fabric with the checked print - the instructions in four easy steps can be found in the photo above. You can either sew or glue the ends of the bow tie together.

Using the buttons as a template, cut out three circles from the felt - a yellow, an orange and a green circle. Make sure that the circles are slightly larger than the buttons.

Sew the buttons to the top of the sock using the light green sewing thread. Optionally, you can glue the felt details and buttons together first.

Now make a cotton pompom. First wrap the wool threads around the index finger and little finger, wrap a wool thread around the middle and pull tight. Gently knot the threads and cut the loop ends at the end.

Sew the finished pompom over the largest button in the middle. The pompom serves as hair.

Cut out the mouth from dark green felt and sew it onto the sock.

Stick the colorful feathers between the buttons. The first monster is ready.

The second monster with colorful feathers

For the second monster, you can make “hair” out of cotton and glue it to the back. In this case you don't need a pompom. Use a cookie cutter to cut out a heart from the green felt and attach it to the sock as a nose. Complete!
