Candles as a centerpiece on the table

Candles have a mystical aura once they are lit and the rest of the room is sufficiently darkened. But you can make them stand out even more by not only designing them to match (or getting ready-made ones from a decoration shop), but also arranging them higher. In addition to classic candlesticks, cake stands are also wonderful for this purpose. The advantage is that you also have space for additional decorations around the pillar candles. Thanks to the stand, rearranging the entire arrangement is no problem because everything stays in place.

You can easily replicate the look of the candles in this example by lighting a candle in red or a similar color and letting the melted wax run over the white candle and down the sides.

Look at this beautiful yet simple arrangement on the table: a black table runner decorated with decorative pumpkins, various candles and tea lights.

The skull is also really cool and has been loosely wrapped with black tulle for a little elegance and thus adapts to the table runner.

The decoration on the plate is also definitely worth mentioning: a homemade spider on a spider web. How can you make them as table decorations for Halloween? Very easy:

  • Bend eight equally long pieces of black pipe cleaners like the legs of a spider.
  • Glue them to a black pom-pom or felt ball.
  • Spread cotton wool (or artificial fiberfill) on the plates. Be careful not to use too much at once so that the whole thing still remains transparent like real spider webs. You can also purchase ready-made, artificial cobwebs commercially.
  • Place the finished spiders on the spider webs of the plates.

Tie the pipe cleaners together first to make them longer. Then knot them together at one end so that they point in all directions. Now connect them in a circle with other pipe cleaners. Spread a white or other light-colored tablecloth on the table and place the net anywhere.

Make beautiful table decorations for Halloween using napkins

We've already shown you how to fold napkins to fit the theme. Cutlery bags that are reminiscent of coffins can be repurposed and contain decorations such as mini skeletons instead of cutlery. To do this, first fold a triangle and then fold the middle tip (the one with the right angle) upwards, and then alternately fold the right and then the left inwards.

You can also make it easy and use any napkin rings that you decorate with Halloween decorations. Small paper bats are sufficient for this. Small spiders also make a difference and can be used for this purpose.

This simple idea can be completed in just a few seconds, but is still a real eye-catcher: a napkin in a matching color is placed across the plate. Place any decoration on top (in this case a paper bat). You can then place any headdress you like around the plate. An accessory on a headband, such as these devil horns, is perfect. This will also give you a guest gift that everyone can use immediately.

Combine typical autumn and Halloween figures with subtle and elegant tulle that you spread loosely along the middle of the table. Then use decorations such as decorative pumpkins, black pillar candles and more to weigh it down.
