How to decorate the autumn lanterns

Once all the materials are in place, you can let your creativity flow. Before you start, sort the natural material and see how the colors fit together.

1. Cut autumn leaves and berry branches to the desired length. Think about how you should arrange these around the lantern.

2. Wrap the floral wire or thread around the lantern a few times and pin the beginning and end in the horizontal windings.

3. Hold the leaves against the glass and make another wrap with the thread. Add more branches, flowers and leaves and again wrap the spun thread on the glass.

4. To get an even finer play of colors, you should change the threads from time to time. Try it out until your lantern gets the fall look you want.
