Make a card for the start of school and send congratulations on starting school

School will start again soon. This is an important time in life, especially for first graders. No wonder they are particularly popularlooking forward to starting school. But children who have completed primary school and are now about to switch to secondary school or high school are also eagerly awaiting the new school year. Wish you lots of success and fun at school with a lovingly crafted back-to-school card. We have put together several ideas.

Card for the start of school: Make a pen out of clay cardboard for school enrolment

Onecolorful greeting cardin pencil form is guaranteed to be a hit with first graders. The quickest way is to draw a template freehand, cut it out of white construction paper and then lovingly paint it. Finally, label the card with the child's name. You can write a loving message on the back of the greeting card.

Alternatively, you can make a greeting card out of white cardboard and popsicle sticks. First, make a template for the pen and cut it out. Then glue four popsicle sticks to them and paint them. Turn the pen over and tape a rectangle of white paper to the back. Fold it in half. On the back of the card you can create a questionnaire for the child or simply write warm congratulations. You can also paint the back any way you want or create a photo collage.

Older children will enjoy a special business card. You can ask the child to stick their photo on the back and write their name. The child can also add the name of their teacher. You can also ask other questions such as favorite color, dream job and wishes for the future.

If you also have children at home, then you can ask them for help. Together you can write a nice message to the first graders using self-adhesive letters. Let your creativity run wild and decorate the pen with washi tape.

Make a back-to-school backpack greeting card

The next card can be made from construction paper. First, fold an envelope out of pink paper. For the backpack pockets, glue two orange rectangles on the front, for the fasteners you need two details made of green construction paper and for the handle you need a detail made of brown cardboard. Attach the details and draw the seams with black marker.

You can fill the backpack with pens, children's drawings and even small sweets. The children are guaranteed to be happy and hang the backpack in the children's room. It's a nice memory of the first day of school.

Make a 3D card for the start of school

For children who can already read well, you can also make a 3D apple. Simply draw a template freehand and transfer it several times onto colorful construction paper. Then cut out three apple motifs and fold each in half. Then glue the motifs together in the middle (where the fold is). Now you can write loving messages such as “Believe in yourself,” “Have a nice first day of school,” and “Good luck” on each sheet.

Creatively design a back-to-school card

If you want things to happen quickly, creativity is what is needed above all. This is where various craft supplies such as cookie cutters, softy stickers and letter stickers come in handy. This allows you to cut out different motifs and attach them easily, making crafting child's play.

Make your own school enrollment invitation cards

It's almost time: the school year begins. The start of this exciting phase of life must be celebrated properly with family and friends. Of course, the parents and the child can share their joy on the first day of school with the others. Beautifully designed invitation cards make the child look forward to the celebration and are a nice opportunity to talk about the school year and answer questions about school.

Making greeting cards also offers the opportunity to practice using glue and the cutter knife or scissors safely. Parents and children should divide the tasks, because then crafting fun is guaranteed for young and old.

For example, parents can make templates and then ask the children to cut them out and trace them onto construction paper. The map is then carefully put together.

Depending on your wishes and mood, you can make both very simple and complicated greeting cards. If you and your child would like to make an invitation card for a family celebration in a small circle, you can simply fold a sheet of craft cardboard in half, stick a page from a notebook on it and then stick on various beautiful motifs. Using a cookie cutter, cut out two pink circles and draw a smiling face. You can also make a pencil out of cardboard and stick it onto the card. Make the topic clear right away: “Invitation to Ema’s school starting party”, “Our first grader Ema invites Grandma and Grandpa to a school starting party”.

The invitation card should then state the date, time and location. If the child wants to invite their friends and their families, then you should also ask for feedback.
