  • DIN A3 cardboard in the color of your choice
  • Colored paper or cardboard in any color
  • Craft knife and cutting mat
  • optional: paper punch – circle
  • Ruler and pencil
  • double-sided tape

First you need to record where the interfaces are using this template. Be very precise when cutting with the craft knife and follow the lines on the cutting mat.

Cut out 12 small rectangular pieces of colored paper and glue them onto the strips. You will soon fold them, tie them together and secure them using the double-sided adhesive tape.

Do the same process on both sides. Now it's the turn of the basket handle. To do this, cut out a long strip at least 2.5 cm wide.

To attach the handle to the basket, cut two circles, one side each - you can use a paper punch if you have one. If not, simply cut two circles of the same size, approx. 4 cm in diameter.

In the circle, make a slit about 2.5 cm or the width of the paper strip exactly in the middle of the circle and fold in two. Add the paper strips and secure them on both sides of the basket with a piece of double-sided tape.

The Easter basket is already finished and can be beautifully decorated. To do this, use stickers or motifs that match the selected colors of the basket. With the help of the paper punch you can make great motifs yourself and use them to beautify your Easter basket.

You can easily produce decorative grass yourself to fill up your homemade basket. Simply take a sheet of green paper and cut it into very thin strips with the craft knife. Fold these chaotically with your hands and place them in the basket.

Place the Easter eggs in the homemade basket on the decorative grass you made and arrange them nicely with other little surprises.
