Here you will find detailed instructions on how to style the best hairstyle ever yourself.

What do you need?

  • A shampoo and conditioner that does not contain alcohol or sulfates
  • A hair mask that deeply nourishes the hair
  • Heat protectant
  • Hairspray for strong hold
  • Round brush
  • hairdryer

For a salon-quality blowout, a round brush is your best choice. The larger the brush, the smoother the hair, while a smaller brush creates tighter curls. So choose the size of your brush depending on the result you want.

Wash hair

Without proper preparation, you won't be able to blow your hair out like an expert. Usehence a shampooand a conditioner that contains no sulfates or alcohol when washing your hair. Then care for your hair with a deep-acting mask, which you leave on for at least a few minutes. This leaves your hair silky smooth and easy to style.

The right preparation

To prepare your hair for heat styling, there are two small things you should do after you shower. First, remove any extra moisture. Excessive heat can cause damage and frizz. So it's best to wait until your hair is damp before using the hairdryer. Your arms and elbows won't tire as quickly when blow-drying because the process is quicker overall.

Apply heat protectant

Apply a heat protectant after detangling your hair. Over time, heat damage can cause hair breakage and frayed, unwanted ends - sometimes to a degree that is beyond repair. To protect hair from heat damage, it's as simple as using a heat protectant to seal the cuticle. Heat protectants leave a smooth, shiny, unbreakable barrier.

Allow your hair to pre-dry

Neither damp nor dry hair is ideal for a blowout, in case you were wondering: blow dry hair first. Pull your hair taut with the palm of your hand while aiming the downward end of the hairdryer at it. Ladies with thick hair should apply a lot of pressure, while ladies with finer hair can simply move the dryer back and forth with their hand. Do not style your hair until it is at least 80% dry.

Part the hair

Divide your hair into four sections: one for the left side, one for the right side, one for the front sections, and one for the back of the head.

The Art of Blowouts

Finally comes the most important part. The hairdressing method of blowing out the hair with a round brush can be started when the hair is 70-80% dry. This method is the secret to big, bouncy, silky hair. The entire top of the head is broken down into smaller parts. Place the hairbrush at the bottom of the hair and start at the roots. Then, slowly pull your hairbrush toward the ends of your hair while blow-drying the hair from the top, following the movement of the blowdryer. Then roll the brush back to the root of the hair and then pull it towards the ends of the hair. Repeat this process until the hair in the affected area is completely dry.

When blow-drying, always point the hairdryer nozzle downwards, towards the ends of the hair. This way the hair dries without frizzing.

Dry the front strands

Have you ever thought about how your front hair just seems to lie flat without bangs? The secret is to blow dry this section upside down for a natural lookTo achieve volume effect. To style hair down, brush it forward, tuck your rounded bangs or front highlights under the brush, and blow-dry the section from top to bottom.

Hairspray is the finishing touch

A fine mist of flexible hairspray can help keep your blowout style in place.
