Make a bunny and carrot garland
The two favorite topicsfor Easter decorationare bunnies and carrots and we'll show you here how you can make this fun garland yourself.
Necessary materials:
- patterned cardboard in orange, green and white
- Rosa Carton
- Scissors with a wavy cut
- punch
- Tacker
- String or ribbon
This is how it's made:
- Using serrated scissors, cut a 3cm wide strip from the orange patterned cardboard. Cut 3 strips from the green cardboard that are 2cm wide and 13cm long.
- Fold all the strips in half, place them together and staple them in place.
- Pull the ends of the orange strips and staple them together with the stapler to create a carrot shape.
- To make the bunnies, cut the following strips without a wavy edge: 3 cm wide and 30 cm long strips for the body, 2 cm wide and 15 cm long strips for the ears and just 1 cm wide and 10 cm strips -long pink stripes for the inside of the ears. For the pink inside the body, use a 20cm long strip that is 1cm wide.
- Assembling the bunny is almost identical to that of the carrot, you just need to place the ear pieces on top of each other, tuck and staple them into the body, and fold the long pieces out and down. But instead of point-basting the bottom piece, overlap and round the body and staple the inner pink piece together.
- Use a hole punch and the ribbon to string the garland.
