The most popular spring festival is getting closer and closer and are you already looking for ideas for Easter crafts? If it should be really easy this time because children or beginners are involved, paper is a good craft material. It is easy to handle and creates beautiful creations. If the paper is cut into strips, you can even create three-dimensional figures. But what can you actually make with strips of paper for Easter? In the article you will find ideas with instructions for the classics: whether Easter eggs, chicks, Easter bunnies, carrots or sheep, we have a large selection of ideas.

Colorful eggs made from paper strips

The most famous symbol of Easter worldwide are the colorful Easter eggs. You can use strips of paper to make eggs of any size and decorate them beautifully. To do this, you need a template in the right shape, as well as lots of colorful strips of craft paper and glue. The decorated Easter eggs can then be cut out with scissors and hung on the wall as decoration, for example.

This craft project is perfect for children of all ages and is a lot of fun for them. The first step is to divide the craft paper into many colorful strips of similar width. Pattern paper would also work well here to create original Easter eggs.

Then draw an egg shape on a (large) piece of paper. Use a dark felt-tip pen to mark the outline on both sides of the sheet. Then it comes to decorating. To do this, stick the colorful paper strips horizontally on the sheet until the template is completely covered.

If the Easter egg is already decorated, all that remains is to cut it out. If children are doing this work, provide children's scissors and never leave the little ones unattended.

5. Glue two more strips of yellow colored paper in the middle. The resulting shape should look like a snowflake.
