There are no limits to your imagination here. From the classic vases, which can be made of glass, clay, metal or another material depending on your taste and furnishing style, to beautiful jugs made from the same materials. Vintage cups or milk jugs are also perfect for small bouquets.
Bouquet of flowers in yellow color
The color yellow in particular is often represented in summer flowers. And this also ensures a friendly look and a good mood. And after all, the summer bouquet, like any other, should achieve exactly that. You can achieve this color effect not only with roses in different sizes. Also the goldfelberich, the golden sheaf, marigolds,of course sunflowers, the snapdragon, the goldenrod, the tansy and many others create a bright yellow bouquet. Of course, only yellow is a bit boring. That's why you can play with different touches of color and create either a colorful bouquet of flowers or a more subtle one in terms of color that consists of two or at most three colors.
If you would like to create some shades in addition to the yellow nuances, you can multiply them here and there with orange flower colors.
Blue and purple summer flowers
Blue is represented in no less flowers. Bright blue variants can be found both in the garden and on the meadow, which add a certain romanceSummer bouquet and other floral decorationscare for. These include, among others, hydrangeas, whose color saturation ranges from pale at the beginning of summer to strong in mid-summer. The maiden in the green, the delphinium in a dark blue version and the pretty cornflower also look very romantic.
Since there are fewer blue flowers, purple ones can also be used. And here the selection is really big in summer. The fine aster, phlox, peonies, carnations, foxglove, lavender, lady's bellflower, leucocoryne, sweet peas, clematis and many more look impressive and can be wonderfully combined with any other flower color.
Flowers for summer in pink or hot pink
You'll probably immediately think of roses and of course peonies. This color not only has a wide variety of nuances that can be combined in a summer bouquet to create pleasant shades. The variety of flower shapes is also extremely large here, as with the other colors. Phlox is also a great choice here and can be combined with the red carnation, with sweet peas, mini carnations, star umbels, cosmos, sage, levkojen, which are also available in other colors, with feathers or delphiniums and many others.
Whatever color you choose, always combine different flower shapes to create a beautiful texture. Place long, grape-like flowers in the middle of the bouquet while placing the smaller ones around them. This way everything can be shown to its best advantage. A mix of pink, pink, purple and blue in particular is very romantic, so you can combine these colors wonderfully. But still create contrasting accents with white or yellow flowers that you distribute in the middle.
Summer bouquet of flowers in red shades
Here, too, you can't help but think of the roses. They are a symbol of love, especially in bright red or wine red versions. Of course, the corn poppies should not be forgotten either. There are also dahlias, the torch lily, some types of carnations, begonias, lilies, red yarrow, calla lilies, zinnias and gladioli. They are great for creating a bouquet of flowers in strong colors and can be best combined with orange as a shade of red, as well as with yellow.
White flowers for simple bouquets or to fill out
Like the daisy, feverfew combines white and yellow and thus offers two color tones as an accent. In white there are also the meadow rue, the rose, the scabiose, the bluebell, speedwell, lily of the valley for the early summer bouquet, the viburnum and many typical meadow flowers. Certainly white flower colors can not only be used as an accent. Even the other way around, all white with just a few colored accents here and there, the bouquet looks very attractive and romantic.
Of many colors
If you want to make the bouquet colorful and really upbeat, simply combine as many colors as possible. It would be nice if each color was represented by at least two flowers. There should also be enough of them and they should be repeated several times. The colorful bouquet looks particularly nice with meadow flowers. But of course garden flowers can also be used again.
Grasses for texture
Grasses also have their season in summer and are therefore perfect for adding some neutral color accents in terms of texture to your homemade summer bouquet. Let grasses like the Pennisetum grass make a contribution and set accents. By the way, it's not just green versions that are suitable. They are also great in late summer, when the grass has already dried out due to the heat or has simply passed.
