The small-leaved, blue periwinkle (Vinca Minor) is a carpet-forming dwarf shrub that grows 10 to 15 centimeters high. ThePlantare suitable for sunny and shady locations and are very attractive as evergreen underplanting in both small and large groups.
There are several evergreen varieties that are well suited to partial to shady locations. Vinca minor Variegata, for example, impresses with its yellow-white leaf edges, shiny leaves and large blue flowers. Vinca minor Alba blooms white from May to September.
