The children's playhouse Maja'S Wooden House was designed by Ultra Architects to order from the parents of a little girl, named Maja, and built in 2010 in the garden of the family home in Poznan, Poland. The parents initially wanted a tree house for the little one, but not a single tree in their yard was suitable for it. Therefore, the architects built the 6 square meter structure on a low mound next to the house.

The architects' original idea was for amodern looking flat roof–Garden house for children, but 6-year-old Maja didn't agree. From a child's point of view, the children's playhouse should look just like a real house - with a classic gable roof and chimney. After long unsuccessful negotiations, the team of architects finally accepted the opinion of the little ones and built a smaller copy of the Rudin House by Jacques Herzog & Pierre de Meuron - a building famous for its architectural forms, which are similar to the classicalConcept for houseare equivalent to.

The architects ofUltrahave ensured natural vantilization - the chimneys not only fulfill a decorative role, but also allow air to enter, and the side walls can also be opened. There are cheerful, colorful children's tables and chairs inside and a slide outside. TheGarden house for childrenis a real highlight.
