Beautiful, modern perennial garden at the Chelsea Flower Show 2022 – With Love
Gardens are a gift of love - this garden was designed according to this belief. Gardens bring joy not only to those who spend time in them to enjoy them, but also to those who create them. The design in this example stands out because of the color combinationGreen and whiteon – many plants such as hedges, bushes and lawns and garden paths as well as flowers in white shades. The shady trees are also striking, including hawthorns with straight-cut crowns. The beautiful garden combines a certain structure through modern elements with the naturalness of meadows.

Swiss feeling in the garden at the Chelsea Flower Show 2022
The Swiss Alps can be viewed in mini format in this design, because it is precisely this landscape that the garden designer was inspired by. Circle of Life with wooden water wheel
As the name of the garden suggests, this garden design is about depicting the circle of life, for which different means have been used. Both rustic andtypical Japanese elementsare to be found. The latter is marked, for example, by the water wheel. Waterwheels are the oldest method of generating energy, while their ability to spin is said to symbolize the transience of time.

Sitting area in a tree stump – Connected
It probably doesn't even need to be mentioned that the oversized tree stump is the highlight of this garden. Of course, this is not a real tree, but this structure offers an unusual and, above all, natural-looking shelter with an open roof that allows light to penetrate. What is particularly interesting is the facade, which is very similar to natural bark. The forest landscape exudes peace and security and could hardly be more inviting. This design rightly earned its gold-plated silver medal at the Chelsea Flower Show 2022.

Ice sculpture at The Plantman's Ice Garden
This unusual idea with an ice sculpture in the center doesn't just have the purpose of attracting attention from a decorative point of view. It is also a reminder of the rapid rate at which polar ice is melting these days - more than twice as fast as in the rest of the world. The ice block has something else interesting inside, namely Tartar Catchfly, which was inspired by the discovery and subsequent germination of a cache of 32,000-year-old Silene seeds in 2012. For all the effort, the designer won a gold-plated silver medal.

Cirrus Garden for the balcony
Not everyone has their own garden, which is why the balcony was also given sufficient attention at the Chelsea Flower Show 2022. Jason Williams' balcony garden is sustainably designed and features a wide variety of species, designed to make life in the city calmer and more pleasant (we remind you that gardening is good for mental health, which should also benefit city dwellers). A small seating area is surrounded by wildflowers, perennials and evenedible plants such as herbsand vegetables. Even a fish pond adorns this small outdoor area - a true paradise for which this balcony garden won a gilded silver medal!

Chelsea Flower Show 2022: Silent Garden in pots
This time it is not Switzerland but Scotland that served as inspiration for a garden. However, this is a container garden with recycled and reconstructed whiskey barrels, which give the whole arrangement a special charm. The plants that were chosen are also typical of the Scottish highlands and islands. Of course, the interesting wall is also strikingInspiration for your own patio wallcould serve. It is slate stone that comes from a disused quarry. On the wall itself it should imitate a gorge. The design, which was named “Best Balcony and Container Garden”, also won a gold medal.

Mediterranean raised beds in the container garden – A Mediterranean Reflection
This modern and at the same time traditional-looking terrace area is Mediterranean and specifically inspired by Mallorca, with a special kind of pot design. Instead of free-standing containers, the designers used the current onespopular raised bedsand incorporated them into the terrace design. It is worth mentioning that the curvy shapes are intended to be reminiscent of the waves of the sea. An original bench on a small rock is framed by Mediterranean and drought-resistant plant species. They include succulents, grasses and other perennial varieties. A thoroughly successful and inviting garden design that earned a silver medal at the Chelsea Flower Show 2022.
