If you want to build a stable Friesian wall, it should ideally have a tendency of 10 to 15 percent. However, a foundation is not necessary when building a Frisian wall. Instead, a compacted sand bed with a thickness of about 20 centimeters and 80-100 centimeters wide is required. If you build a friezen wall on both sides, you should design it as a double wall with space. In the one -sided variant, a slope is provided with dry masonry.
If you build a dry wall, no mortar is needed. The stones are simply peated into the earth and the space between the individual layers of stone is also filled with earth and compressed by stamping.
