Terrace and garden as an extension of the living space – modern architecture

A house in Kharkiv, Ukraine, impresses with modern architecture - organic, flowing shapes harmonize with the surrounding nature. The inspiration for the curved shape of the roof and the building itself came from the terrain, which has a height difference of fifteen meters. In order to optimize the property and at the same time protect the breathtaking landscape, the architects from Sbm Studio designed a beautiful single-family home that is characterized by a flowing, organic design language. The house has a spacious terrace and garden as an extension of the living space, equipped with everything useful to ensure optimal comfort.

Terrace and garden as an extension of the living space - a house in Kharkiv, Ukraine

The facade is made of a durable material – a combination of basalt stone, thermal ash and glass. TheglazingThe ground floor is secured by a steel structure and behind it is the swimming pool. The water surface combined with the glass beautifully reflects the natural light and surrounding landscape. There is an eight-meter-long roof terrace on the second floor that offers a breathtaking view of the entire green area and nature.

As an extension of the living space – breathtaking atmosphere

On the first living level there are spacious living rooms, a master bedroom and a pool with a wellness area, which is only separated from the rest of the house by a glass wall. Curved internal stairs lead to the upper floor where the other bedrooms are located. Only noble, high-quality materials in harmonious pastel colors are used in the interior.
