The Greek architects K-Studio designed a kind of modern beach house for the exotic Bopurboni restaurant on the sea coast of Greece - Costa Navarino. The structure was made entirely of wood and was built on a platform directly on the beach. Terrace roof made of wood with textile shading offers beautiful sea views while dining and enjoying the sea landscape.
The house is open on two sides and faces the sea. The other two sides are closed and covered with wooden slats. Inside, walls with the same slat-like structure separate the main room from the kitchen,Storage room, Bad.
The wooden terrace roof and the fabric panels for shading form a kind of grid and offer leaky shade to the restaurant's guests. The textile shading is characterized by an interesting, irregular shape in harmony with the surrounding nature and landscape on the sea coast. The rough surface of the massive supports contribute to the exotic flair of the local. Another highlight are the woven lanterns hanging on the side and the woven railing.
