Many pregnant women and new mothers face the same problem - stretch marks. They occur in areas of the body where the skin stretches - often this does not have to be due to the pregnancy itself, but is more related to the change in body weight. Areas of the body that are particularly at risk are the hips, buttocks, stomach and sometimes the upper arms. It is often believed that there is no effective remedy for stretch marks - but that is not true.
One of the most effective remedies for stretch marks is quite simple - if possible, body weight should be controlled. This definitely doesn't mean starving and desperately looking after your figure - but simply trying to eat healthily and drink more water. This enormously increases the stretch properties of the skin. Even more so - if you are planning to have a child, it is worth starting a healthy diet a few months beforehand. Also effective – exercise regularly, even duringpregnancy. Yoga, for example, can keep the body fit during these special months. Also important – the right skin care, which is worth investing in from the first day of pregnancy.
