Setting up an attic room can be a challenge. But if an attic room is supposed to accommodate an entire apartment, the task is even more complicated. However, Raca Architekci have found a perfect solution for this apartment, which is located in Sopot, Poland. You can see how you can set up a sloping roof and use it practically in this modern apartment.
The room with a sloping ceiling is intended to accommodate sleeping, living and work areas. Above you can see the room in the form of a project still being planned. The sloping roof is characterized by large windows that provide the room with plenty of daylight. This saved a lot of artificial light sources when setting up the sloping roof.
Built-in wardrobe
If you want to set up a sloping roof, you need to think about howthe furniture is best distributedto make optimal use of the space. Specially made built-in cupboards are ideal for using them for sloping ceilings. The Polish apartment has such a wardrobe that extends to the highest point of the room. The area next to it accommodates the bed.

Cupboards for the sloping ceiling can also be found on the other side of the bed. Sufficient storage space is a point that should not be underestimated or even forgotten when setting up a sloping roof. The particularly low areas in a one-room apartment like this, which do not offer enough space for massive and large furniture, are suitable for installing cupboards.

The built-in cupboard also forms a small niche in which the bed is stored. The main colors for the furnishings are black and gray. So that these dark colors do not take over and a friendly atmosphere is created in the attic apartment, a light wood was chosen for the walls, ceiling and floor for the sloping roof.

Right next to it is the work area with a desk. The area near the window was chosen to set up a sloping roof with a work area in order to make optimal use of the daylight.

In addition to built-in cupboards, shelves are also a good option for additional storage space if you set up a sloping ceiling. The work area consists of black furniture. A desk lamp guarantees enough light for working in the later hours.
