The interior design of a small one-room apartment is often a challenge and you should try to get the most out of a limited living space. Swedish architect Alexander White has done this perfectly by designing a minimalist two-level studio apartment in Stockholm, Sweden. He designed the sleeping area on the second level, thereby separating it from the living, dining and kitchen areas. This ensures the privacy of the sleeping area is maintained even in a small apartment.
What allows this apartment to be designed on two different levels is the high ceiling. It is typical of loft apartments, which are usually characterized by high and wide windows. The lower level of the apartment is designed as an open living space that features a kitchen, a small living area and a dining area in the middle of the room. Umthe small spaceTo maximize and create additional storage space, the kitchen is equipped with a floor-to-ceiling kitchen cabinet. The higher shelves can only be reached using an extension ladder that is hung on the wall when not in use.
The furnishings of the one-room apartment are simple and elegant. The small living area is furnished with a blue sofa, which adds a stylish color accent to the room. There are also two minimalist side tables with marble table tops in this area. The living area is visually separated from the rest of the apartment by a carpet. Green houseplants and a large cactus also serve as accents in the interior and bring a fresh touch to the apartment. The sleeping area on the second level is designed in a minimalist style with no unnecessary elements. To protect against falls, the second level has a black metal railing, which also gives the apartment a stylish look.
