A dark and uncomfortable oneatticcan be wonderfully redesigned and transformed into a cozy space. This is also proven by this attractive boy's room, which is divided into three areas: sleeping, playing and storage space. For theDesign a children's room under the roofInstead of strong colors, an elegant white was chosen as the main color, which was combined with light blue and green accents. The latter can be replaced at any time. The white elements can be found on the walls, the bed construction and the laminate flooring. The style in turn represents a mix of traditional and modern, which is achieved through different decorative elements. This is how retro lamps decorate the ceiling
Design a children's room under the roof with an integrated loft bed
The children's room under the roof was designed to be an impressive oneLoft bedintegrated, which was specially designed for this room. The area under the sloping roof was used for this bed. A large opening, which serves as a kind of window, integrates the sleeping area with the rest of the room, but can be closed off by a curtain. Shelves serve as steps leading to the bed. Children's books or toys can be stored there. Under the loft bed there is a second bed that can be used for guests and can also be hidden by a green curtain. The second bed in our example of creating a children's room under the roof can also be rolled forward and can be used wonderfully as a lounge and in the form of a daybed or sofa.
Design a children's room under the roof - shelves as stairs
A homemade game table with an integrated tray for the pens offers a great place for painting and crafts. For this purpose, the legs of a small, round table were shortened and a round hole was sawn in the middle to allow a bowl with a rim to enter. The lovely chest of drawers itself was also redesigned to create a children's room under the roof. In addition to a new paint job, it also received new handles made from small rubber figures. Right next to it, hooks were installed on the wall where the children can quickly store their school backpacks so that they are out of the way and at the same time within easy reach.
The roof room with second bed
The play area in the children's room under the roof was not only designed to be child-friendly with the craft table and the toys were nicely arranged. An interesting wall design also makes the area appear more playful. This consists of various motifs, such as houses, trees and people, all made of felt and attached to the wall with a hot glue gun. If your child would rather relax and have peace and quiet, they can also retreat to the seating area by the window and read a great book there.
Decoration with pillows
It is also striking that designs were used to create the children's room under the roof, which can be changed quickly and easily at a later date. This doesn't just apply to the colors, which can easily be changed when the children get fed up with them, as they come in the form of cushions, pleats and other accessories that are not permanently fixed. The wardrobe, which is currently divided into two halves, can later be converted to accommodate a taller person's clothes by simply removing the bottom hanging rail. So as you can see, the children's room can quickly be transformed into a teenager's room. You should also take this into account when designing your children's room under the roof.
