If you like oriental or Persian designs, the paisley pattern is just right for you. What is typical for this pattern is that it has the shape of a drop. It is often associated with the hippies and often with the Beatles and the 60s. These motifs give a modernly furnished apartment a great eye-catcher, which is why they are a great option if you want to decorate with patterns.

A delicate variation on the usual striped pattern is the elegant pinstripe pattern. The pinstripe is designed to be very thin and divides the main color into wider stripes. And again we ended up with the Scots. You have often seen this exact pattern on kilts. The stripes are at different distances from each other, are different widths and have different colors. The quatrefoil is a motif that was primarily used in architecture. You've definitely seen it in churches, cathedrals or similar Gothic buildings, for example. In principle, the design is made up of four equal-sized circles that overlap each other. This creates the shape of a four-leaf clover. The divider at the top represents the pattern in a more modern version. The cushions also show how wonderfully you can decorate with this pattern.

There's not much to explain here in terms of shapes. As the name suggests, the print is in the shape of scales. This pattern is particularly popular in Art Deco interiors. So if you are considering this interior design style, you can wonderfully consider this pattern.

With the stripe pattern, it doesn't matter which direction the stripes run or how wide they are. Only the distance between them should always be the same. Choose delicate and subtle pastel tones or bold colors when decorating with this pattern. The greater the contrast between the colors, the more impressive the classic yet modern design becomes.
