For this impressive project, the architects Fransesca Perani worked with the Bloomscape architectural firm. They have renovated a beautiful Italian villa from the 70s in a contemporary way. Attractive accents and contrasts could not be missing. However, these should be realized in an aesthetic way and without any frills. The designers and architects installed a new staircase as the focal point of the redesign of the domicile.
New staircase as part of the redesign of a 70s Italian villa
Set up a home office if there is little space available
Today, working life has become much more flexible and there are currently options for working from home. If you have an entire room in your apartment for working or creative activities, consider yourself lucky. However, you can set up a nice home office even if you have little space.
The new staircase as part of the redesign of this beautiful villa leads from the kitchen to the private rooms on the upper living level. It is displaced and is made of white painted metal. This makes it appear particularly light and more like an adjustable roof staircase. On one side, the new staircase is stabilized by metal slats. The steps are laid with anthracite gray carpet for safe going up and down. It gives a soft look and also creates a strong contrast to thewhite walls.
New staircase in the contemporary renovated Italian villa
The area under the stairs and other elements in the house, such as the door framesin bright yellowcolored and immediately attract the viewer's eye. The functional kitchen with an extended kitchen bar and built-in storage bench made of dark wood is also rich in contrast.
The beautiful villa has a special and very intricate floor plan. The areas are relatively narrow and not designed in a standard way. The designers emphasized this playful touch in an elegant and modern way during the redesign. At the same time, the yellow door frames with glass inserts made of relief glass reveal the nostalgia of the 70s. The bright white walls in combination with the anthracite gray carpet conjure up strong contrasts and create a contemporary overall picture.
Thanks to the eye-catching color design, the new staircase is a special highlight in the redesign of the chic home. The simple design language and the bright color combination have made it a real eye-catcher.
