Environmentally friendly interior design & modern furnishings in Italy

This apartment, which we would like to introduce to you, was renovated in 2012 and now impresses with a modern and simple interior design as well as an environmentally friendly interior design. The apartment originally dates back to the 1960s. It is located in Varese, Italy. During the renovation, a large number of the internal walls were removed to create a more spacious living space. Three large rooms were created, which now form the two bathrooms, the living room, the kitchen and a walk-in closet.

Environmentally friendly interior design – shelf as a wall unit

Natural light and natural ventilation are guaranteed. In addition, there are energy-saving LED lamps and the use of many natural materials. This includes oak wood, metal in the form of panels, and fiber plaster. No artificial glue or glue was used to attach the individual elements. Instead, they are attached by plant substances.

Open and environmentally friendly interior design

Despite the open living style, the individual areas are visually divided. The columns, which had to remain as supports, serve this purpose. The bright design of the rooms is achieved, among other things, by the large windows. White walls support this idea and allow for black accents here and there.

Original closet

The wall panels, which at first glance appear to be wall paneling, quickly turn out to be cabinets. They serve perfectly as additional storage space. The light oak wood is repeated again and again in the apartment, being used for a wide variety of furniture and surfaces. On the living shelf it creates a smart accent and frames books and the television.

Canvas in the living room

A screen can be pulled out directly in front of the wall unit and makes entertaining with multimedia really fun. This apartment places great emphasis on entertainment. It's not just film evenings that can be wonderfully organized. Lots of books guarantee a relaxing time in the living room, which also serves as a reading corner.
