This is a very fast recipe and the possibilities are endless! You can add any fruits and essences to the dough to design it according to your taste. The glazes can also vary depending on their preference and creativity. The special thing about this recipe is that the oatmeal is mixed. The cake is baked in individual molds, like muffins. Simple, healthy and tasty!
Baked Oats basic recipe with banana
Ingredients:
40 g oatmeal
1 ripe banana
1 big egg
1 tablespoon of honey or maple syrup (or more to taste)
½ teaspoon of baking powder
1 pinch of salt

Tips on the recipe
We recommend using a strong mixer for this recipe (both the basic recipe and all variants). You can use a strong hand blender if you make a larger batch, a single batch may not have enough volume to mix well.
Don't worry that you mix the dough too much. Since heno glutenit is okay to mix it thoroughly and also stir the ingredients well.
If you let the mixed dough rest for 5-10 minutes before baking, the oatmeal can absorb the liquid better and the cake becomes fluffier at the end! However, it is not absolutely necessary, and the cakes are delicious even without resting the dough.
Don't bake too long - oatmeal get dry when you bake them too long.
Storage tips
The oatmeal tastes best when you still get warm from the oven! You keep well packaged at room temperature for a day. We recommend eating the remains cold as they dry out slightly when they warm up.
